Dear room 6 from Saint Pius

Yesterday was Incredible experience. The teacher was in room 6 was Mrs Moodley. You heard right thats our teachers friend.
When we went there we had to communicate with each other. We had to till a bit about yourself and they had to do. When we finished talking we sang marys born child. Then we went into the music room and played on there ukuleles it was really cool but we had to go. I had a really
great time but inforchenly good things come to are end.

Netbooks reflection 2012

Having a netbook is great I get to do so many cool things on it like e-asttle, XI teach and many more. I get to go on to peoples blogs from my class and other classes and post a comment on their blog. It's also helpful when doing research, but some people go on games and go off task. I don't, I listen to miss when she tells us what to do. On the netbook learning is fun. Also when I'm writing it tells me what word has been spelt wrong and what I need to change. It's also easy for me to understand. Also pop ups appear and distract people. I also get to practise my maths on web activities. I love my netbook I will always look after it forever.

Yesterday afternoon this happened

“Ready for take off Robin,’’ said Mission control.

“Of course I am.”

They don’t call me dear devil for nothing.


3,2,1, Blast off!!! I was getting higher and higher and higher into the atmosphere. Until it was time to jump. “Mission control here ready to jump?,” and so I replied “I was born to jump.”

“Wish me luck boys,”

3,2,1 Jump!!!


“Oh no my signal, mission control come in mission control,
come in.”

How do I know how to land? I think I’ll just guess. “Robin? Robin?”


What?. “It’s mission control when you land, land on your feet not on your head”

“Roger that sir”

“There will be five hundred mattress,”

“Then I landed safely on the mattress. Everyone was clapping for me,”

The theme of the story is always be brave and give new things a try.

Last month I decided to find out what sports the seniors liked. I asked the children one
by one.

I surveyed 25 children. The results are as follows.10 children liked rugby. 6 children liked soccer.3 children liked touch.7 children like other kinds of sports.

Rugby is the popular sport..Cricket was the least popular.

I think that children liked rugby because they like playing it .

Thank you for all your have done to provide us with the fillings, bread and buns. I really enjoyed the day we had and it was all thanks to you. Glen Innes School really appreciates what you have and so do I.

When I first heard Mr Naidoo say don't bring your lunch I wondered why? I thought we were going to somewhere with food called a restaurant. But when the day arrived I saw all
these pictures ad 5+ plus a day signs. The fillings I had was carrots cucumber
ham and lettuce. I have not tried cucumber before but when I tried it it was nice.
